TOP > RD-E Capacity of Main Bearing

A set of large internal angular ball bearings enables the RD Gear Head to support heavy external loads on its own.

<Allowable moment and maximum axial load>
The allowable moment and the maximum axial load are equal to the allowable value of the external moment and the external axial load, respectively, both of which are applied to the reduction gear during normal operation.
The allowable momentary external moment at the time of acceleration/deceleration is twice the value of the allowable moment.
Mc: External moment
(1) Mc = {W1×(L1+a) + W2×L2} / 1000 N-m
(2) Mc <= Allowable moment
(3) Momentary external moment <= (Allowable moment value) × 2

W2: Axial load
(1) W2 <= Maximum axial load

note_e.jpg 1. Refer to Fig. 4 for the location of W1, W2, L1, and L2. Refer to Table 2 for the dimension of a.
2. Refer to Fig. 6 when the external moment and the thrust load are applied concurrently.
